Review management for the moment customers decide who to trust.

Before anyone calls, they read your reviews: the rating, how many there are, how recent the newest one is and how you answered the bad one. We set up a review request that reaches every customer after the job, reply to every review in your voice and keep watch on the sites your trade is judged on.

Three things a customer reads before calling.

The star rating, the number of reviews and the date of the newest one sit right beside your name in the map, before anyone opens your website. A strong rating with nothing recent reads as a business that has slowed down. A short list reads as new, whatever your real history is.

The rating

Shown beside your name in the map and in search results, before a customer has read a word you wrote.

The volume

How many reviews stand behind that rating. Ten reviews averaging 4.9 and three hundred averaging 4.7 tell a reader very different things.

The recency

The date on the newest review, which answers a question customers rarely ask out loud: is this business still busy, and still good, right now?

Four jobs that keep running all year.

★

Ask every customer

A text or email goes out after each job or visit with a direct link to your review form, triggered when the job is marked done. Everyone gets asked, not only the customers you expect to be happy, because picking who gets asked breaks Google's rules and makes the rating harder to believe.

✉

Reply to every review

For the good ones, a thank-you that names the work the customer mentioned. For the bad ones, a short, calm reply that sets out the facts without arguing and offers a way to talk it through privately. Anything sensitive, we check with you before it goes up.

Watch where you are judged

Google first, then Yelp, Facebook and the review sites particular to your trade. Each new review gets read, and one that breaks a platform's rules, such as a review from someone who was never a customer, is reported through that platform's own process.

Feed the map

Google names review count and rating among the factors in local ranking. A review that names the job done also tells the next customer more than five stars on their own. More on local SEO.

What customers look for differs by trade.

A med spa client reads for how the provider made them feel. A homeowner reads for whether the crew turned up on time and cleaned up after. A diner reads for the dish. Requests and replies are written with that in mind, for each of these trades:
