SEO that makes the phone ring, on every surface people search.
Search used to be ten blue links. Now the answer can arrive as a map result, a snippet lifted off your page, an AI summary, or an assistant that never shows a website at all. SEO is still the work underneath all of it: a site search engines can read, pages that answer the question, and a business the rest of the web agrees is real.
Written for local business owners who want more calls. If you are an agency buying SEO for your clients, we do the same work white-label under your brand: see the partner model.
Five surfaces. One foundation, and this page is it.
Search does not happen in one place anymore.
A customer looking for what you sell might click a result, read a boxed answer without clicking anything, get a summary written by Google, or ask an assistant that names three businesses and stops. Those are five different places to show up, and they are won in five different ways. This page is the one they all stand on.
Classic search: the ranked results and the map. Technical, on-page, topical authority, entity and off-page work. Everything below draws on it, which is why we start here and why we will not sell you one of the other four without it.
Answer Engine Optimization
When Google lifts the answer straight off your page: featured snippets, the People Also Ask box, voice results and the markup that makes them possible.
Learn moreAI Search Visibility
Google's own generative answers: AI Overviews, which arrived in May 2024, and AI Mode, which followed in March 2025. Plus how to measure whether you appear in them.
Learn moreGenerative Engine Optimization
The assistants that sit outside Google: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude. Mostly off-site work on citations, mentions and the signals that make a model confident enough to name you.
Learn moreSearch Experience Optimization
What happens after the click. Matching the page to the intent that brought someone there, and turning the visit into a call, a form or a booking instead of a back button.
Learn moreFive parts, and none of them work alone.
Here is the whole job in plain terms, in the order it tends to matter. If a proposal you have been sent only covers one of these, you are buying a fifth of an SEO program at full price.
- 01
Technical SEO
Make sure search engines can find, read and load every page you want to rank. This is the part nobody sees and everybody feels. A page blocked by a stray setting, duplicated across three URLs or taking six seconds on a phone is a page that will not rank no matter how well it is written. We crawl the site the way Google does and fix what is in the way.
What that means for you- The pages you care about are the ones getting indexed
- The site loads fast on a mid-range phone, not just on your desktop
- One clean URL per page, with redirects that do not chain
- Sitemap, robots and schema that match what is really there
- 02
On-Page SEO
Make each page obviously about one thing, in the words your customers use. Most local sites have either one page trying to cover nine services, or nine pages that all say the same thing. Either way Google has no clear candidate to show. We give each service and each area its own page and write it for the person typing the search.
What that means for you- One page per service, aimed at the person who needs that service
- Titles and headings that match real searches, not internal job names
- Copy that answers the question before it asks for the call
- Internal links so a strong page lends strength to the rest
- 03
Topical Authority
Cover your subject properly, so you are the obvious answer rather than one of many. Ranking on one phrase is fragile. Being the site that covers the whole subject is not. If you install water heaters, that is pages on tank versus tankless, on what a replacement really costs and on what goes wrong, instead of one thin page called Water Heater Services.
What that means for you- A map of what a customer needs to know before they buy
- Pages that finish a subject instead of teasing it
- Straight answers to the awkward questions, including price
- Depth, which is also what gets a page quoted elsewhere
- 04
Entity and Semantic SEO
Make the web agree on who you are, where you work and what you do. Search engines do not keep a list of pages, they keep a picture of things: businesses, places, services, and how those relate. Your business is one of those things. When your name, address, categories and services say the same thing on your site, your profile, your listings and your markup, that picture is sharp. A blurry match loses to a clear one every time.
What that means for you- The same business name, address and categories everywhere
- Schema that describes the real business, not a wish list
- Service and area pages tied to the profile they belong to
- The clearest single lever on whether AI systems will name you
- 05
Off-Page SEO
Earn the mentions and links that tell search engines other people take you seriously. Off-page is everything happening away from your site: links from real sources, mentions in local press and supplier directories, listings that stay accurate, reviews that keep arriving. We do not buy links. We get you into the places a real local business belongs, which is slower and is the only version that still works.
What that means for you- Links from sources that have a reason to mention you
- Local citations kept accurate and consistent
- Reviews treated as an ongoing habit, not a campaign
- No purchased links, no blog networks, no shortcuts
Technical first, content second. That order is not negotiable.
Publishing a great page on a site search engines cannot crawl is printing a beautiful brochure and leaving it in the trunk of the van. The foundation is cheaper to fix than to work around, and everything built on top of it compounds.
- 01
Find out what is actually wrong
We crawl the site, check what is indexed, read Search Console and look at the queries you already nearly rank for. That last list is usually where the first month pays for itself, because the demand is already there.
- 02
Fix the foundation
Crawling, indexing, speed, duplicate URLs, redirect chains, site structure. Unglamorous work that nobody will compliment you on, and it lifts every page published afterwards.
- 03
Build the pages that answer the question
Service pages, area pages and the supporting content that finishes each subject, written in your customers' words. Built on a clean foundation, these start earning instead of sitting there.
- 04
Make the web agree on who you are
Profile, listings, markup and the mentions that turn a website into a business search engines recognize. This is the slowest part and the hardest for a competitor to copy, which is exactly why it is worth doing.
- 05
Report on the part that matters
Calls and form fills tied back to the pages that produced them, alongside impressions and positions. If a month did not move, we tell you what we are changing rather than sending a chart that looks busy.
SEO compounds, which means it is slow at the start and hard to catch later. Anyone promising the top of page one in thirty days is selling you ads or making it up.
SEO fulfillment under your brand.
Nineteen agencies use us as their SEO team. You keep the client relationship and your own reporting format. We do the audit, the technical fixes, the pages and the off-page work, and we stay off the client call unless you want us on it.
The questions owners ask us first.
How long before SEO does anything?
Technical fixes can show within weeks, because you are removing something that was holding pages back rather than building something new. Pages competing for real demand usually take three to six months to settle, and the most contested terms take longer. Anyone who gives you a date before looking at your site is guessing.
Is SEO still worth it now that AI answers the question?
Yes, and the case is stronger than it was. Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, and assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity, build their answers out of pages and profiles they can find and trust. The work that earns an ordinary ranking is the same work that gets you quoted. AI search visibility covers Google's AI surfaces, and generative engine optimization covers the assistants outside Google.
What is the difference between SEO and local SEO?
Local SEO is the part that decides the map results and the searches with a place attached: your Google Business Profile, your listings, your reviews and your area pages. Everything on this page is the foundation underneath it. Most local businesses need both, and we run them as one job. Local SEO has the detail.
Do we have to publish a blog post every week?
No. Weekly posting for its own sake is one of the most expensive habits in this industry. We would rather build eight pages that finish the subjects your customers actually ask about, then keep those pages accurate, than forty pages that skim and go stale.
Will you build links for us?
We earn mentions, we do not buy links. That means supplier and association listings, local sponsorships and press, and content other sites have a reason to point at. Bought links are cheap and fast, and they sit on your domain as a liability long after the invoice is paid.
How will we know it is working?
We track calls and form submissions and tie them back to the pages that produced them, alongside Search Console impressions and position tracking. You get a plain note each month on what changed and why. If the number that matters is not moving, you hear it from us first.
See what is holding your site back.
Tell us your business, your area and your website. We will check what is indexed, where you already almost rank and what is standing in the way, then give you the short list in plain language. No cost, and no obligation to work with us.
