Footbridge Media alternatives for contractors

Footbridge Media builds contractor websites and local SEO. Its real strengths, who owns the Google Ads account, and what to compare before you sign.

Contractors tend to meet Footbridge Media through a trade group or a search for contractor websites, and the offer is easy to follow: a website, local SEO and one person to call, from a company that works only with the trades. The natural next question is what else is out there.

We read Footbridge’s homepage, FAQ and service pages on October 31, 2026. Every claim about the company below comes from them, and the ownership points are linked so you can check them.

The 60-second version

  • Footbridge Media, based in Pensacola, Florida, builds websites and runs local SEO, Business Profile work, reviews and Google Ads for home service contractors only.
  • Its real strengths: more than 20 years in the trades, a dedicated marketing consultant for each client, an all-stateside staff and month-to-month terms.
  • The ownership catch is in the fine print: its Google Ads page says Footbridge creates the ad account and keeps ownership of it.
  • If you also need Microsoft or TikTok ads, someone answering the phone, or a CRM you can take with you, compare it with a team that runs all of that in your name.

What decides this choice for a contractor

It comes down to how much of the road from a search to a booked job you want handled, and whose name is on each piece when you are done. Footbridge sells a contained package built around the website and organic search. Before comparing anyone, write down every channel that brings you work today and what happens to a call that comes in at 7:40 on a Saturday morning. Those two answers sort the options faster than any sales call.

What Footbridge Media sells, by its own pages

The core is what Footbridge calls its contractor marketing program. The homepage lists a custom website, local SEO, content and citations, Google Business Profile management, a CRM, automated review requests, answer and generative engine optimization (AEO and GEO), an appointment scheduler, online payments and invoicing. Sold separately: Google Ads, Local Services Ads, Facebook ads and posting, email newsletters, print mail and an AI website chat.

The menu lists fifteen trades, from cleaning and decking to siding and windows, and the FAQ says the company has worked only with home service businesses for more than 20 years.

The CRM is Footbridge’s own dashboard, with lead forms, a booking widget, quotes that expire, automated follow-up on open quotes, invoicing and Stripe payments.

Where Footbridge Media is genuinely strong

Two decades in the trades. A company that has built sites for pressure washers and roofers for more than 20 years knows what a homeowner looks for before calling.

One named person. Every client gets a dedicated marketing consultant, and the FAQ promises that consultant’s direct phone number, email and a link to book a call.

No offshore handoffs. The FAQ says all employees are based stateside and the work is not sent overseas.

Easy to try. The company works month to month, and its FAQ says the site goes with you if you cancel: “We don’t believe in holding your site hostage.” It also says your Google Analytics and Search Console accounts are set up under your business and are yours to keep.

Honest about SEO timing. Its FAQ calls SEO “a 3-to-6-month build” and will not promise a lead number, which is the right answer.

Who owns what if you leave

Footbridge’s pages give different answers for different pieces, so read this part slowly:

  • The website. The FAQ says Footbridge hands over your site files as HTML, and that the review system, the dashboard, web forms, the content system and hosting stop working without an active subscription. Plan for a rebuild of those parts, not a simple move.
  • The domain. The FAQ says your content and your domain are always yours. Check the registrant name yourself on any WHOIS lookup.
  • The Google Ads account. The Google Ads page says Footbridge creates a new account for your campaign and retains ownership of it, and its FAQ says it does not work in existing Google Ads accounts. If you leave, the history of your campaigns stays with that account.
  • Meta ads. You open the Business Manager and Ads Manager accounts yourself and give your consultant access, so those stay yours.
  • Call-tracking numbers and the Business Profile. The FAQ explains that the number in your ads is a tracking line that forwards to your phone. The pages we read do not say whose account holds that number or who is the profile’s primary owner, so ask.

Where a contractor may need more

Its social media page says the posting service covers Facebook, or Facebook and Instagram, and leaves X, Houzz and TikTok aside. Neither Microsoft Advertising nor TikTok ads appears among its services. Its AI product answers the chat window on your website; the pages we read list nothing that picks up the phone.

That is fine when your work comes from Google and someone always answers the office line. It is a gap for a remodeler who wants to show up on Bing too, a roofer whose before-and-after videos do well on TikTok, or a two-truck plumber whose calls roll to voicemail during repairs. Each gap means another vendor and another report that does not match the others.

The CRM is the other decision. Footbridge’s dashboard stops working if you cancel, by its own FAQ, while a GoHighLevel account set up in your name stays with you, contacts and follow-up texts included.

Who Footbridge Media fits

  • A one-crew painter or pressure washer starting from nothing. A contained package with one consultant to call is a sensible first step.
  • An owner who wants the website and organic search handled, and nothing else. If you already answer every call and run ads yourself, Footbridge’s focus is a match.

It fits less well when ads run across several platforms, when calls go unanswered during jobs, or when you want the Google Ads history and the CRM to stay yours if you ever change agencies.

Where Beyaoshy fits

One team builds the website, runs the SEO and Business Profile, manages ads on Google, Microsoft, Meta and TikTok, and sets up the GoHighLevel CRM and the AI receptionist that answers a Saturday call while your crew is on a job.
